France parcel delivery
Cheap UK shipping to France
Express and Economy France Parcel Delivery from only £16.51
However, if you're sending from countries outside the EU, such as the UK, then you will need to provide a customs invoice (which Parcelhero will produce for you) and your goods may be subject to clearance delays and French customs authorities may apply import duties and taxes to your goods upon import, which are charges levied by the local government not the courier.
The VAT rate for importing goods into France is 20%, however, certain products incur lower charges.
If your sending gifts, personal affects or business samples under the value of €150, then your shipment will likely not incur any additional charges. We always recommend checking with French customs prior to shipping.
France has its own import rules and regulations and it is good practise to check any restrictions directly with the French customs authorities, before you send your parcel.
New EU Customs charges on B2C parcels from 1 July 2026
From 1 July 2026, a flat customs duty of €3 applies to all business-to-consumer (B2C) parcels valued under €150 entering the EU.
The €3 charge is applied per item classification, so a parcel containing multiple different types of goods may incur multiple €3 charges.
An additional €2 handling fee per item is also under discussion for November 2026. Some EU countries, including France and Romania, have already introduced their own handling fees ahead of any EU-wide decision.
